Introversion is sometimes mischaracterized as a problem and something that needs to be overcome as a personality defect. This is not true. An introverted person has some very admirable personality traits, such as, they are much more likely to be a good listener, they do not waste time in idle talk, and they are comfortable being alone.
Extroverts on the other hand, while they may be gregarious, the life of the party, and the center of attention, they also can be shallow, overly active, and find it difficult to simply be quiet and enjoy being alone.
