7. Billy Kenny

So young and so much potential. Kenny is often spoken of as a great lost talent. Emerging from the Everton Under 21 system in 1992, much was said of his future as a leader for the national team. However, he quickly fell under the influence of drugs and alcohol. After a stint in rehab, he was ultimately fired for gross misconduct. His career in the Premiere League was over by 1994, having scored a single goal.
