4. Creeking

Creeking may resemble kayaking, but it is much more dangerous than its popular, and considerably tamer, alternative. Creeking is typically done in kayaks and canoes that have been specially designed for going down steep whitewater, and in some cases even waterfalls. If this sounds extreme, it’s because it is – as such, people engaging in creeking usually go along with much more safety gear than those who participate in more conventional watersports.
