The father of this family, Dave Hally, took one last photo of his wife and 4-year-old daughter before takeoff for their dream vacation aboard MH17.
The MH17 was a scheduled passenger flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur that was shot down on 17 July 2014 while flying over eastern Ukraine, killing all 283 passengers and 15 crew on board. This picture was one of the very few of the crew that was taken right mere hours before disaster struck.
