American Wild Ale:

An American Wild Ale is an ale brewed in America with a wild strain of yeast. The yeast is what makes the beer sour, similar to all other sours. We’ve seen that American Brewers have made Belgian and German style sour ales, but they are different to the term American Wild Ale.
