“Juno” star Elliot Page first came out publicly as gay in 2014 during the Human Rights Campaign’s Time to Thrive conference benefiting LGBT youth in Las Vegas, Nevada. Page had come out to his family back when he was only 19 years old, but had hidden it from Hollywood for fear of being judged. In December 2020, Page came out as transgender and now goes by Elliot, using he/him pronouns.
