20. Giant Bats

Australia’s gigantic bats are sometimes called flying foxes, and they’re only slightly smaller than a full grown fox. Even though these bats don’t generally pose any particular danger to humans, the sight of one could certainly scare the wits out of an unsuspecting person. But you wouldn’t want to take any chances with these nightmarish looking creatures, as they have been reported to eat eagles and crocodiles.
