A mythical animal said to be related to the Koala, the Drop Bear is, in all likelihood, nothing more than a rumor spread by puckish Australians who find humor in frightening tourists. Despite the efforts of skeptics, many people still believe there exists an aggressive cousin to the koala that is larger than the Koala and drops on its prey from tree tops before ripping into its victims with menacing three-inch fangs and jugular-shredding claws.
