11. Saltwater Crocodiles

These are the largest reptile in the world, and the meanest. They can grow up to 25ft in length and are ambush-predators. They wait for prey to go close enough to the water, then it hurls its enormous body out of the water and grabs its victims with razor sharp teeth. Its jaws lock down and the crocodile begins its infamous ‘death roll.’
Saltwater crocodiles are capable of leaping out of the water up to ten feet. They have even been reported to leap into trees from the water.
