Marathon–Antarctica–They don’t call this the “Ice Race” for nothing because it takes place in possibly the coldest climate in the world. At least it’s run over a more normal marathon route of 26.2 miles, but it’s the cold that will add the element of danger to the race. You can also opt to do a half marathon version of the race…if you are a wuss. It’s the only official race that takes place in Antarctica.
