Early life
Yanet Cristal García San Miguel was born November 14, 1990. She is from Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. First she studied public accounting. Later she certified as a health coach at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York. Then, around age 20, she opened Yanet García Models in Santiago, Nuevo León. In 2013 she tried out for Nuestra Belleza Nuevo León. However, the pageant was not her break.

Instead, television was. She joined Televisa Monterrey in 2014. She presented weather on Las Noticias. Then in 2015 she took the forecast on Gente Regia. On June 21, 2015, one segment left local TV.
