This legendary British warbird kept the Luftwaffe at bay until the end of World War 2. The Supermarine Spitfire is famous for its speed and was used to intercept high-speed German rockets. This plane with its 8 X 7.7 mm browning machine guns served the British a great deal in the Battle of Britain.
