The glamour and the fame of Shanghai, China is one of the main reasons this city has become a tourism destination like no other. The city isn’t just about entertainment, though. Rather, it is the financial center of the country and, as a result, many of its visitors are business professionals. In 2013, 6.1 million people visited the city, which is down by about 6.5 percent from the previous year. Nevertheless, the city has plenty to offer, including being one of the largest container ports in the world.
