A center fielder and three times World Series champion, went to prison for six months, partially because bankruptcy fraud involving the $18,500,000 house he purchased from hockey star Wayne Gretzky. He owed $31 million for his various debts, but claimed to have only $50,000 in assets. According to court documents, however, he sold a large collection of baseball memorabilia for $15,000 and pocketed the money and placed sconces, an oven, and chandeliers into a storage unit.
