Benny Hinn, born Toufik Benedictus Hinn in Isreal in 1952. Hinn founded the Orlando Christian Center in 1983, holding healing services in his church. He named these “Miracle Crusades.” Flint, Michigan held his first televised service in 1989. In 1999 he passed on his church leadership. Hinn moved to California and now lives in Orange County, with his family where he does his television show known as “This Is Your Day,” The news media and many people, and other clergies declare Hinn an outrageous charlatan and false prophet.
