This Canadian-born beauty experienced success early in life by performing onstage with Shania Twain and selling over 50 million singles at 15 and 17, respectively. A single from her debut album hit number one, and her second album made number one on the Billboard Charts. After taking a break from the music to dabble in fashion, fragrance, and acting, the singer returned to the industry to write “Alice” for Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland. Lavigne is a supporter of many charities including Amnesty International and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. She recently personally participated in raising money for the 2015 Special Olympics World Summer Games being held in Los Angeles, CA.
