FYF Festival enters it’s twelfth and biggest year this summer. It will be the second year at LA Sports Arena & Exposition Park by USC in Los Angeles. FYF is a 2 day music festival in Los Angeles, California. It’s an outdoor festival, and since it is in Los Angeles, you can count on there being a lot of cool people with great style. There is no camping at this festival, so book an airbnb or a hotel near downtown LA. A 2 day pass is just $175, which is pretty reasonable for a festival these days. Frank Ocean is headlining Friday, with Bloc Party and the Jesus and Mary Chain. Saturday is headlined by Morrissey. Other bands to check out are Tennis, La Femme, Chet Faker, Mac DeMarco, Deer Hunter, Purity Ring, D’Angelo & the Vanguard, Melody’s Echo Chamber, Belle & Sebastian, FKA Twigs, Solange, Death Grips, and Battles. The line-up is great. Bring a reusable water bottle to save money, there are refill stations in the festival. If you’re visiting from out of town, make sure to have a burrito while in Los Angeles, or the famous bacon-wrapped street hot dog. Dress for the warm weather, stay hydrated, and check out some amazing music this summer in sunny LA.
