Vermouth, Liqueurs, Cordials
Don’t worry too much about this collection, it will grow as you discover more cocktails to make at home. If you will be making cocktails with whiskey, you should stock a bottle of sweet vermouth. If you want to make Martinis, get a bottle of dry vermouth. In between cocktail making, vermouth will keep better in the fridge. A few good liqueurs to have on hand are Maraschino liqueur, Crème de Violette, Grand Marnier, and Cointreau. Do your research about the drinks you’d like to make. Buy them as needed, but don’t worry about stocking them all at once, it can get expensive.
