18) Predatory Tunicate

The sea-dwelling version of a Venus Flytrap. They are surreal-looking translucent critters which anchor themselves to canyon walls or the seafloor and wait for meals to drift into their large, gaping hoods. Once captured, their hoods remain shut tight until the critter is consumed.
