22) Gulper Eel/Pelican Eel

This thing is a mouth with a long, whippy ‘tail’ that comprises the rest of its body. The oversized mouth unhinges, which allows it to swallow animals much larger than its body. The unfortunate meal is stored in a pouch within its lower jaw. It’s tail has been known to knot itself up, and the end of it has a small light-producing organ known as a photophore which glows pink.
