Reared in Los Angeles County, California and of Korean descent, TOKiMONSTA has incorporated herself with the diverse likes of Lupe Fiasco, Justin Timberlake, and Stan Getz and Joao Gilberto. In 2010 she was ranked the No. 1 female DJ in the L.A. area, and became the first female to join Flying Lotus Brainfeeder. Her appearance on internationally syndicated radio shows in France, England, and the U.S. have catapulted her career. The subsequent notoriety has granted her access to virtually every aspect of L.A. based music.
