It doesn’t sound all that bad until you see where the Huashan Teahouse actually sits. First, you’ll need some hiking boots. Then, you’ll need that tea to settle your nerves and stomach. This restaurant is a beautiful, welcoming location, but it sits at the top of the world’s steepest staircase. The staircase is only protected by a small fence. Located on top of a mountain, the view may be worth the daring climb.
