3. The Pod City of San Zhi – Taiwan

This abandoned pod city (also know as UFO Town) located in San Zhi was apparently supposed to be an expensive luxury resort. There are many theories as to why this project was abandoned, such as bad business partnerships, the failure of a regional real estate bubble and even that many workers died during construction and the place is now haunted.
